This gracious old home, one of the earliest capes built in the historic Town of Phippsburg, combines modern comfort with early architecture to reflect Maine's sea-faring heritage. Located on the banks of the Kennebec River with 425 feet of river frontage, the building is nestled beside the old Congregational Church (1802) with a panoramic view of water on three sides. Directly across the River is the Squirrel Point Lighthouse.
Riverview is completely furnished and sleeps up to six people. The four bedrooms include two queen and two single beds, and there are two full baths. Period furnishings can be found throughout the guest rooms, living room with fireplace, and the dining room. The new, modern kitchen boasts a woodstove, dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, and all utensils. Also included are cable TV and phone.
For our perspective guests who own a boat, we have a dock and float for further accessibility.
