Inspired by classic Maine camps, this rustic yet sophisticated room, located on the first floor of the "Shipwrights' Quarters" is where nature meets luxury. It has reclaimed wood throughout and a four-poster Queen size bed. Its large private bathroom has a shower and decorative copper tub. Windowed French doors invite you to step onto the private porch with sweeping views of the gardens and water. Relax at your private outdoor table with a glass of wine and one of our gourmet snack boards. 

It's the perfect getaway for a romantic adventure, special occasion, or luxury retreat.

The Haggett Room

A favorite room in the house. Spacious and filled with natural light from large windows with expansive views of the water and garden. Large private bath with a tub and shower, also with views. Antique pine floors, a classic four-poster Queen size bed, a large closet, and lounge chairs for reading and relaxing by the cast iron stove. Located on the second floor of the manor house.  

This room is named after Bill and Ada Haggett, stewards of the home during the second half of the 20th century until its renovation in the early 2000s.

The Hill Room

This elegantly and spacious room has plenty of natural light from four large windows and beautiful views of the front lawn and surrounding woods. It has antique pine floors, an open fireplace, a four-poster Queen size bed, original wood shutters and paneling, a large closet and a private bathroom with a shower. Located on the second floor of the main house.

The room is named for the Honorable Mark Langdon Hill, the stepson of John McCobb and Maine‚Äôs first US Congressman, who inherited the home in 1782 as its second owner.

The Minott Room

This elegant room boasts gorgeous views of the water and gardens, plenty of natural light, and French-inspired decor, including an antique painted wood full size bed, writing desk and curve backed settee. It has antique pine floors, an armoir and a private bathroom with a shower. Located on the second floor of the manor house.

The room is named after Charles Minott, the first famous Maine shipbuilder who became the third owner of the McCobb-Hill-Minott House when he purchased it in 1854. Located on the second floor of the manor house.

The McCobb Room

This spacious and elegant room boasts plenty of natural light from four large windows with beautiful views of the gardens, surrounding woods and linden tree. Antique pine floors, original wood paneling and an open fireplace lend a feeling of warmth and history. It has a Queen size bed, a full size couch for lounging, a large closet, and a private bathroom with a shower. Located on the second floor of the manor house.

The room is named in honor of Captain James McCobb, who built the house as a gift for his wife in 1774. She planted a linden tree in front of the house that same year. It still stands proudly today.

This cozy room has views of the Kennebec River and gardens from two smaller windows, antique pine floors, a Queen size sleigh bed and a private bathroom with a shower. Located in the corner on the second floor of the "Shipwrights' Quarters," built in 1860 to house Charles Minnott's best shipwrights.

It shares has a bathroom with a shower and a copper sink with the Popham Room next door. Located on the second floor of the "Shipwrights' Quarters," built in the 1860 to house Charles Minnott's best shipwrights. A great value for friends and families sharing lodging.

It shares a bathroom with a shower and a copper sink with the Linden Room next door. Located in the the "Shipwrights' Quarters," built in 1860 to house Cha yrles Minnott's best shipwrights.
